In the Fifteenth Century, the foundations for the rebirth of art and culture were laid in Florence. Thanks to eminent writers like Dante Alighieri, Francesco Petrarca and Niccolò Machiavelli, the Italian language and culture were born in this enchanting place, and artists like Botticelli, Michelangelo and Donatello made this unique city one of the world’s art capitals.
The congress, which will be held in Florence in 2017, aims to promote research and studies that focus on creative processes in various areas of interest. The topics that will be covered will range from the dialectic between psychopathology, cognition, interpersonal dynamics, behaviors, vulnerability factors in personality structures and conscious and unconscious creative processes, to the discussion about the psychiatric, psychological, legal, anthropological, philosophical, social and educational clinical settings offered by the city of Florence, which opens a multidisciplinary horizon to all the arts of emotional life.
