Discomfort and intermediary room – Aspects of groupdynamic work
As group psychotherapists we have to establish an intermediary room to promote possibilities for solving inside and interpersonal conflicts and to induce processes beyond the automatized sequences of action and reaction. It is demanded to get through phases of discomfort such as moments of anxiety, rage, anger, tension and dare to build an atmosphere of trust and enough security inside groups. The paper shows some crucial aspects of this process.
